According the AWOG Constitution, the Annual General Assembly meets within the first four (4) months of each calendar year on a date determined by the Board of Directors.  An invitation to the general assembly as well as the agenda are sent to all members in good standing before the meeting.

Every other year there is a second General Assembly (termed the Extraordinary General Assembly) in the fall at which elections are held for the new Board of Directors.

The General Assembly is the highest authority of the Organization whereby the will of the membership is expressed.  Members who cannot attend the General Assembly can “be present” and “vote” by proxy.
